Coinbox Ltd. (Company Number: 517137105) allows any user to request the deletion of their account and personal data in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981.
How to Delete Your Account
Via the App
- Log into your account in the Coinbox app.
- Tap on the profile icon in the top corner ← Settings ← Security.
- Tap on "Delete Account".
- Confirm ← Complete Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) ← Confirm again.
Via the Website
- Log into your account at www.coinbox.co.il.
- Go to Settings ← Security.
- Click on "Delete Account" at the bottom of the page.
- Complete Two-Factor Authentication and confirm.
Direct Request
If you are unable to access your account, send a deletion request via email to: privacy@coinbox.co.il
Please include the full name and the email address associated with your account in the request. We will confirm receipt of the request within 2 business days.
What Happens After the Request
- Your account will be permanently closed and you will not be able to log in.
- Information Required by Law — such as KYC documents and transaction data — will be securely retained under the Prohibition on Money Laundering Law (5 years) and tax laws (7 years), after which it will be permanently deleted.
- Your remaining personal information — such as contact details, usage patterns, and diagnostic data — will be deleted or anonymized within 30 business days of your request's approval.
