Fee Schedule

Last updated: Version 1.5.0-draft

The crypto trading fee is not one universal rate. It depends on the asset group, trading tier and execution mode. For trading, the binding quote and transaction record determine the amount actually charged.

1. Base fee by asset group

The rates below are the Standard-tier trading base fees, before any trading-tier discount:

  • Majors, 0.45% base fee: BTC, ETH, SOL, USDC, USDT.
  • Alts I, 0.65% base fee: XRP, ADA, AVAX, DOGE, LINK, DOT, LTC, XLM, BNB, HYPE, CC, BCH, SHIB.
  • Alts II, 0.75% base fee: POL, HBAR, NEAR, ONDO, SUI, TON, UNI, TAO, AAVE, WLD, CRO, PAXG, PEPE, QNT, ALGO, ATOM, FIL, XDC, CAKE, AERO, GRT, 1INCH, DYDX, ZRX.

USDC and USDT are crypto assets for fee purposes. They do not receive the USD/ILS pair exemption.

2. Trading-tier discount

Under Coinbox policy, the trading tier is based on cumulative USD trading volume over the previous 30 days. The discount is deducted from the asset group's base fee:

The same discount applies to Alts I and Alts II. For example, the Silver-tier trading fee on Alts I is 0.55%.

3. Advanced trading

Advanced trading carries the asset group's base fee after the trading-tier discount. The price-lock fee does not apply to this mode.

The price is set by the order book and available liquidity. The market's natural bid/ask spread remains and is not a fee.

4. Simple buy and sell with price lock

A simple buy or sell carries two separate fees:

  1. The asset group's base fee after the trading-tier discount.
  2. A 0.95% price-lock fee on the amount received.

The quote shows its expiry.

5. Managed order

A managed order carries the asset group's base fee after the trading-tier discount and a separately named 0.95% managed-order handling fee on the amount received. The handling fee is charged when the order completes and is not a price-lock fee.

6. USD/ILS conversion

A direct USD/ILS conversion carries no crypto base fee, price-lock fee or managed-order handling fee. Its cost is included in the spread between the buy and sell rates for the USD/ILS pair.

When the market is closed, the active spread is multiplied by the multiplier set for that period. The spread may widen further under exceptional market, liquidity or risk conditions. The binding rate appears in the quote. Choosing to receive USD from a crypto sale does not include an ILS conversion.

7. Card deposit

The processing fee is 0.95% of the deposit amount and is added to the amount charged to the card. For example, a ₪1,000 deposit carries a ₪9.50 processing fee and a total card charge of ₪1,009.50.

8. WD network fee and other external charges

Each supported crypto-withdrawal route carries a fixed WD network fee, shown before the request is submitted. The fee is charged in the withdrawn asset in addition to the amount sent to the destination. The withdrawal amount does not affect it. Coinbox does not charge a percentage fee for the withdrawal itself.

A bank, intermediary bank, card company, payment provider or wallet may also charge under the selected route and its own terms. Such a charge is separate from the Coinbox trading fee.
