Why compare the exit too?
A low purchase fee does not ensure a low selling cost. Comparing both directions reveals whether the charge stays the same or rises on exit. Coinbox applies the same base trading fee in both directions.
The global market is open. Israeli traders belong in it.
Coinbox connects trading to global liquidity through liquidity providers operating under some of the world’s most demanding regulation.
What does liquidity mean?
Liquidity means finding buyers and sellers at close prices, with enough available quantity for your trade. The fee is only one part: price, available quantity and the buy-sell gap matter too.
A low fee. No added crypto markup.
A fee charges for the trade. A markup changes the price itself. You can pay both. Coinbox shows its trading fee and adds no crypto price markup. The market’s natural bid-ask spread varies; it is not another Coinbox fee.
Your money. Your choice.
Deposit dollars and trade Bitcoin, or start with shekels and convert when needed. Trade supported coins directly against your USDC balance. There is no need to return to shekels between trades.
Global trading. Israeli tax handling.
Coinbox’s tax engine calculates tax on activity recorded in your account and shows the calculations. Realized losses offset gains within the same tax year, with automatic withholding at withdrawal or monthly settlement. Imported acquisition cost feeds the calculation for crypto transferred from elsewhere.
You hold USDC. Why convert twice?
Accepting USDC deposits is not the same as USDC-quoted trading. Without a direct market, you first sell USDC for fiat, then buy Bitcoin. Two trades instead of one, with costs at each step.
Coinbox · One trade
USDC → BTC
At Coinbox, trade Bitcoin directly against USDC. Your balance does not have to become dollars or shekels first.
Two trades
USDC → USD / ILS → BTC
Bit2C’s route goes through shekels. At Bits of Gold, you sell for fiat, then buy Bitcoin. That is the difference between accepting a coin and using it to trade.
Access to a market should not require a conversion you never wanted. Coinbox brings that choice to Israel.
Funding and withdrawals matter too
Coinbox card funding: 0.95%. Bits of Gold publishes a 3.5% processing surcharge before VAT, in addition to its service fee. These are card costs, before trading and currency conversion.
Coinbox percentage crypto withdrawal fee: 0%. Bits of Gold: 0.95% before VAT. Bit2C charges 0.0005 BTC for a Bitcoin withdrawal, not a percentage. Coinbox shows any fixed network cost separately before confirmation.

Sources and calculation
Research and comparison: Coinbox team ·
The comparison isolates costs: independent, equal-value buy and sell actions, each with no prior trading volume. Every component uses the same reference notional. The average is the sum of both costs divided by two, not the compounded cash loss of a trading simulation.
Bit2C and Bits of Gold tiers include the action being tested. Horizon applies each tier to its corresponding slice. Coinbox uses its base fee. Route minimum fees are included; transfers, custody and tax sit outside the trading metric.
Bit2C’s Bitcoin gap uses the median buy premium measured in June 2026; the comparison scenario applies it symmetrically to the sale. Bits of Gold spreads come from July 2026 price screenshots. These are measured reference inputs, not live spreads or fixed vendor commitments.
Bits of Gold’s extra selling fee applies to external-wallet and deposits-account coins. It is removed when you select coins bought and kept with them. VAT is added to rates published before VAT.
Tariffs checked: September 2026. Price measurements: June and July 2026.
